"DAYA NAHIN SAHAYOG" No pity but sympathy. With this motto, we appeal everyone not to pity these special children. They are not pitiable. They need love, care, security, proper training, rehabilitation and self dependence.

They should be treated as normal children. They have every right to freedom, employment, and education like normal citizens.

With this Motto, We started this project.

Jyoti bears the torch light to the mentally challenged and the deaf and dumb children for their training and rehabilitation.

This special school has the specially designed classrooms, furniture, workshop, lab, physiotherapy Centre and speech therapy centre, playground, a well equipped mini auditorium digitalized.

The school is the dream project of Shri H V Sharma, Secretary, SBM School Society which came into existence in 1993 and was inaugurated by HH Swami Chidanand ji Maharaj President Divine Life Society, Sivanand Ashram.

As a special school it has won laurels for its infrastructure, qualified staff, co-curricular activities and achievements.
